Sit back and relax while your licensed Captain takes you sailing through the tranquil turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sail past the beautiful beaches of St. John, pass many lush tropical outlying Cays, majestic rocks and even the "eco-passage" or choose a trip to visit the scenic British Virgin Islands. Enjoy an Eco-adventure, learn about the fish, birds and history of the islands. Enjoy a drink, a swim and the sun. Our captains will entertain you with stories about the islands, the history, and the nature. Our crew will spoil you with service!

Cloud 9 specializes in small group charters, when you book individually we take a maximum of six guests on the boat, this insures that you will be well taken care of on any of our trips. If you have a larger group we can accomadate up to 10 guest on a private charter. We can even arrange for up to 16 guest on a tandem charter with two sailboats sailing side by side. While our trips follow a basic itinerary, they are also custom tailored for our guests' desires.

Cloud 9 is the only day sail charter boat in St. John that now offers Scuba Diving so you can dive while others snorkel! All of our trips depart from Cruz Bay, St. John, USVI.

About Us:

Cloud 9 Sailing Adventures is owned and operated by Captain Jason Beasley.

CAPTAIN JASON has over 30 years of extensive sailing experience including racing, open ocean, and over 8 years chartering from St. John. He has a 100-ton Master Captain's license. He knows the islands, the history, and lots of trivia and will entertain you with all his stories!

All of our licensed captains have extensive sailing experience and charter boat experience... we only hire the best! They know the islands including many often overlooked areas and they all have their favorite "secret spots". All are safety trained and CPR or EFR certified.

Many of our captains and crew have extensive knowledge of the under-sea world, including PADI Dive Master and Scuba Instructor certification, and marine naturalist knowledge of the fish, reef and critter life. We are great at finding and identifying all the local fish and critters. We have spent thousands of hours snorkeling and diving around St. John and the outlying cays. If you need instruction or would like a guided tour, we are always willing to get in the water with you.

And, most important..... our crew will spoil you all day and make you a great fruity rum drink!

About Our Snorkel Stops:

Experience some of the best snorkeling around! We know all the best sites, even some that no one else goes to and we will take you to the one that is best suited for you!

We select our snorkel spot based on the days conditions, your interest and experience level. Whether you are a first time snorkeler or very experienced we will take you to a site best suited to you. We offer instruction for beginners, guided tours if you'd like, and even drift snorkeling for the experienced snorkeler. We'll take you to places you have not been to before and can not get to on your own. We provide snorkel gear on all of our trips or bring your own if you prefer.
